BAJAJ BLADE 125cc

Bajaj which showcased the blade scooter in 2006 Auto Expo will launch the scooter in 2008. Though the motorcycles sales continues to dip, scooter sales soars. In 2007, it posted double digit growth. Bajaj once a dominant player in the scooter market confined to concentrate only on motorcycles. kristal the only scooter from Bajaj Auto fails to inspire customers unlike activa and scooty pep. In the mean while Suzuki Access and Kinetic sym flyte made a new segment (125cc) in 2007 Both access and flyte are received well by the customers and posting good numbers every month. Bajaj will debut in this 125cc segment with the new ‘Blade 125cc’ (yes, it will not feature 160cc engine as showcased in 2006 Auto expo) The new blade 125cc DTSi will target not just the girls but the working men. Disc brakes, Telescopic front fork and superior suspension settings will set a new benchmark for other scooters. Bike owners may take back their words, Blade is not just for commuting it will be peppy and compete even with the motorcycles. The 125cc engine will feature proven DTSi technology and the presence of four valves will help in efficient charging/discharging and hence we can expect improved fuel efficiency figure from blade 125cc DTSi.
