Amidst the Tata Nano buzz, there were some big car launches as well. Chevrolet a day earlier on 9th Jan has launched its premium SUV, called the Captiva.The SUV, which shall take on likes of Honda CR-V, Suzuki Grand Vitara and Mitsubishi Pajero is priced at 17.74 Lakh (Ex-Delhi) and is powered by a 2.0L (Diesel) engine, combined with the best of the features. The petrol version is powered by a 2.4L engine. With this GM intents to capture the high end SUV buyers in India, thus increasing its model line up in India.
